“Legal Department as a Service Allaw” has won the Law Service of the Year 2019 Award
On 29 October 2019, “Service of the Year 2019” awards took place. This is a very prestigious event organised by the Lithuanian Business Confederation, which attracts the attention of the leaders in various business areas, as it gives them a unique opportunity to present their innovative products and services to the public, while competing amongst themselves in 12 nominations.
This year, the innovative service “Legal Department as a service Allaw” developed by UAB “JURIDICON” was very highly evaluated by the public, which helped it win the award for “̨Law Service of the Year”. At the award ceremony Laimonas Marcinkevičius, the representative of UAB “JURIDICON” and the creator of the service itself, made a very laconic speech, which emphasized only the main advantages of the innovative service. He pointed out that most of the time people see lawyers as consultants who advise legal or natural persons on various legal matters. This stereotype results in people asking with what could possibly lawyers come up with today? Laimonas Marcinkevičius stated that knowledge helps legal professionals to improve and, like every other profession, the legal profession changes, as it is forced to adapt to the constantly changing circumstances and needs of clients.
The “Legal Department as a service Allaw” is a unique legal service model that provides access to legal services for as long as necessary, as well as to a team of qualified, business-savvy lawyers that are always there, when it is needed. All of that and even more for only a fixed subscription fee. The “Legal Department as a service Allaw” is a seamless technology and knowledge-based external legal department that acts as if it a part of the business itself, helping to ensure good governance, risk management and legal compliance within the company.
UAB “JURIDICON” is proud to receive the Law Service of the Year 2019 award. “This award is not just a recognition of our joint efforts, but also an encouragement to strive for improvement and to continue to explore the ways to improve the provision of legal services,” said Laimonas Marcinkevičius.
