Taking into account the wishes of the clients, from now on, Allaw clients can export the requests submitted to the data protection officer (hereinafter referred to as the DPO) and the information provided by the DPO on GDPR obligations and consultations themselves. They can do this by logging into their account on the electronic services portal ALLAW eDap.lt

Functions of the Data Protection Officer

According to Article 39(1) of the GDPR, the DPO shall inform the data controller or processor and the employees who process the data of their obligations under the GDPR and other data protection provisions of the European Union or a Member State and shall advise them on these matters, upon request, shall advise on the data protection impact assessment and monitor its performance in accordance with Article 35 of the GDPR. To this end, the organisation should establish and document a process for providing the DPO with consultations for employees and data subjects. In the event of an audit, it must be able to demonstrate that the DPO is involved in all processes related to the processing and protection of personal data; and ensure the continuity of the DPO's activities after the DPO leaves office.

eDap.lt portal report

The eDap.lt portal report exported from eDap.lt allows you to have all requests submitted to the data protection officer and DPO responses in one place. This makes it easier for employees to collect evidence related to the process of providing DPO consultations to employees and data subjects, without having to store numerous e-mails. It saves time to collect all significant information related to a specific data protection and processing issue in one place. This is especially relevant when intensive consultations with the data protection officer are taking place. It also reduces the risk that some messages may not be saved and it will be difficult for the organization to prove that it involved the data protection officer in a certain process related to the protection and processing of personal data. The eDap.lt portal report only needs to be registered in the Organization's document management system. How to do this?
